Really? for it to be direct swap into a e36? That would be amazing.

Figure I can help out now since most of you are past the dreaming stages and into the actual work part.
I bought my mounts on Ebay.de for around $170 I believe, they're the same exact one as the 300mm.de mounts and worked perfect.
e32 and e34 manifolds will not fit. Period. I have about 6 hours into mine modifying them to fit. Pretty much the only part that can be saved is the flanges, and I had to modify 2 of those as well.
The V8 booster setup is a pain in the ass to get to fit, it clutters up the engine bay and your brakes will still be hard once you finish since the MC is so much bigger. I'm currently in the design phase of making a different option along the same lines as the Massive booster delete kit, but moved to the left about 4"
Word to the wise: modify the coolant pipe on the back of the motor before you install it! I spent a good weekend of work trying to block off 2 of the holes and making lines to mate the other two to the heater core.
As for a supercharger, it is possible to fit without engine bay modification but you would need to make your own bracket. Not sure if any kits would fit directly.
There may be delays in the supercharger updates though, as I found a bigger engine that I want to swap in first :)
I'll try to answer any other questions too.Byron

You can just replace the rear plate w/o extra holes as well :)Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

All this talk about pedal boxes got me giddy. My car is RHD with the masters on the Left Hand side. We normally have a pullrod across the car to a bellcrank acting on the standard booster and master setup you guys have. I modified the bellcrank and installed twin masters.
I added this plate to try and stiffen up the firewall

Yeah, you guys with RHD has some wierd stuff going on under the dash!
You think this won't leak??

Yeah Jean, Garey is correct those are the feed lines. I have changed them slightly since though. They are 3/4 cylinders and I went for a 5.85:1 pedal ratio....the pedal is rock hard with the standard E30 calipers. I'm in the process of adapting some WRX sliding calipers Front and Rear (I had them...cheap cheap :) ) onto larger discs to try and soften the pedal up a bit.
I did actually buy an overhung pedal box setup but went to put it in and because of the dashbar setup I have (full cage) it just wasn't going to fit over the dash bar and with the steering column mount in the way (I can't mod it because of racing regs) so I had to do soemthing different.
It might have been possible to fit the cylinders on the RHD side but the LHD was just easy!

I just spent hours fixing this, and will have to take it back apart to cut and weld the part to change the angle.
I confirm that it is a very wise decision to modify before finishing the heater core hoses.344is! Obd1 conversion

M60 is on the stand, plan on getting it apart this weekend pics to follow.
Parts left to source for my swap - tranny/flywheel/clutch kit/ and i'll go with either z3m radiator OR a custom made thick radiator of e28 535i size but 2-3x as thick.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205

I know, but only the early posts don't show them because the host I used went under. I will have to rehost some of the stuff, check my other thread.Last edited by Jean; 06-09-2013, 08:10 PM.Mtech1 v8 build thread - https://www.r3vlimited.com/board/sho...d.php?t=413205
