Just looked it up and WOW that's a huge power difference
it makes like 5hp more then an m30. Ouch.

whats the best m60 to get? it seems like some are better than others. not meaning the alusil ones. are there m60's that came with better heads etc? also whats so hard about stnn up the vanos/non vanos engines?

Saw this thread and thought id share some motivation, its a local guy. I originally picked up a tboned e34 540/6 with intentions of doing the swap but just never went anywhere with it so i sold it to someone with the skills necessary to get the job done. Got a chance to ride in it at our last meet and drive and man is that a fun car.
