    ls series in a e30

Does anyone make mounts and a transfer brace for putting a Chevy ls in a e30. I'm thinking of going v8 and feel the ls3 would be a good motor for the car. Unlesstherres a solid argument to do a m6x swap

There is, I forget the name but they're pretty active around here so a few minutes in this subforum should yield results.

    Go here be happy!

    Ratchet Garage e30 V8 build.

Free Shipping - Chevrolet Performance LS3 6.2L E-Rod Long Block Crate Engines with qualifying orders of $109. Shop Crate Engines at Summit Racing.

This is a gm crate. The belt and accessory package adds another g and a tranny can add a few more. Not gold dipped but certainly ls3 ready to go

Go for it. Sounds like an easy way to cut your weight to horsepower ratio in half

Maybe you could try and run a NV m50 MAF with it to save money.

Thats retarded. $10k is what you should spend on the WHOLE swap. Im looking at putting a lsx in the e30 I just picked up and pricing things....you can pick up a lsx motor for $4-6k depending on mileage, car it came out of, etc...

LSX never was put in a production car. Good luck finding one of those used.An LSX will cost more than $10000.

I think he means "LSX" where "X" is a variable for 1, 2, 3, 6, or 7. Not the actual LSX engine.
