Like I said, it's an m62 harness. Just grab an m60 harness, there's really no other reasonable option.

The m62 harness goes straight to the electronics box and has no connector for anolog chassis control (x20) which is what you have. That harness is for can-bus systems.

That's not compatible at all with the swap. Whoever gave it to you lied.

driftingminor913 - That's not it, it should be on the plastic housing itself on the e32/e34 harness like this below (it's most likely going to be 25 pin, not 20 pin btw)

Does anyone know what this connector is called?? I'm having trouble figuring out what this is. I was told it was pulled out of a Manual 94 530i E34 but I know that the 94 e34's had a x20 (circle plug) and this harness doesn't have that as you can see its a rectangular plug...

And like I said there is no circle plug on the harness other then the diagnostic plug

Ok I will try, n also I think I found my X20 harness connector....but it's not a circle like the rest it's a square one? Anyways I thinks it's a tad bit easier since it doesn't have to many wires running thorough it.

can you take closer pics of the relay side of the harness for me with all the exposed wires? I'm trying to figure out what I'm missing on my O2 heater relay.

That's a date specific change, not a b30/b40 change. I forget the exact date, but all b30/b40 engines before a certain date use the old style knock sensors.
