    Turbos on a V8 e30?

Has anyone thought of adding some turbos on their V8? I'm running a boosterless brake setup, so I thought I could put both behind the headlights somehow. Any thoughts on turbo placement options?

I remember seeing a 5.0 swap turbo on here somewhere. I think it was actually for sale

Turbo placement is only limited by your fabrication skills.

I'm probably doing some sort of FI, maybe as soon as this winter.

I'd really like to know how clearance is with an off-the-shelf VF/ESS kit. It honestly looks like the bracket and S/C itself will fit, then you'd just need to come up with your own intake and charge tubes. If that's the case, I'll be going that route.

If not, I'd like to do a big single turbo. I'm not ruling out the idea of a remote mount either, with how much room there is behind the rear axle.

This was the idea I had. Removal of the spare and you have nothing but room. It's just trying to trap as much heat as possible in the exhaust all the way back. That and I opted to swap my m60 in my vert...

I would like to see this if you decide on it.

ESS kit doesn't fit "bolt-on" as the bracket brings the charger way too high.

Ahh, thanks for the info. Any leads on a bracket that does fit? I know a few people are running S/C'd m60 e30's, I guess they are all making their own brackets.

Or you could rear mount them like the F-body guys do.
