Hello All. I figured I'd wait till I hit the point of no return until I start a build thread, and I think I'm at that stage
My friend and I are building this together during out last summer break before the start of college to help split the cost among two high schoolers...
The starting point, a 1990 325IS just past 150k miles. Its been an absolute blast to drive, and I'm itching to get it back on the road :P

Here's the M60 I picked up at a junkyard in Ohio. Has 100k miles. Don't mind the transmission next to it. Its from a 328i (in great condition, if you'd like to buy it shoot me a PM!). The harness was mostly cut, but I picked up a fresh one recently. Even though its from an auto, it shouldn't be an issue from what I've read (I hope :D)

Here are the custom mounts from garagistic. They look absolutely fantastic, thanks for the great product! On the driver's side, you can also see the modified/carved-out oil lines from the original motor mount.

The old M20 on the way out

I cut out just the top half of the subframe

Revshift mounts should be here soon, and I hope to test fit the engine in the bay shortly after.
When I got the remote booster setup from a cl seller, he only gave me the booster, master cylinder, and part of the linkage. If anybody is parting out an e34/32, I'd love to buy the rest of the linkages!

Just a quick question that would be awesome if anyone could answer...
1. 5 speed route is the current plan. I bought an oem clutch kit for a 328i (240mm diameter) and a flywheel for an M60. However the M60 flywheel takes a 265mm clutch. The M62 flywheel takes a 240mm clutch. Will I be able to install the oem M62 wheel and mate it properly to the clutch, and then to a e34 530i manual trans?
Any comment/advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for looking
