Mishi or bust. I have the OEM BEHR Z3M radiator and it's flimsy and cheap as fkkkk. It cools great however! I sat in traffic the other day and it was 104F outside and my gauge didn't even think about hitting the halfway mark.

With the mishi, you're buying a better peace of mind, increased capacity, and one hell of a warrantee.

After about 1 year/10k miles, it sprung a leak right where i jammed the stupid thermostat thing for the fan control through the fins. I contacted mishimoto, they had a replacement sent out within 24 hours for $25. That made me a lifetime customer. Their warranty is the best i've ever seen; it's no questions asked, and you don't need to return the old one. They even give you a free replacement if you get in an accident.
    sold!

This is what I have for now. E28 535i radiator. I have like 3 laying around, so why not?

I'll upgrade if I feel it's not enough.

Im assuming M42 + 80* Thermo/fan switch and a high CFM SPAL wouldn't be enough?

I always liked the integrated expansion tank.

    V8 Compatible Radiators

I did some research (Googling) really and it seems the Z3M 3-row radiator is another option for cooling a V8 swapped E30. The radiator from Mishimoto costs about $300.

My question is has anyone here tried this radiator in their M60/62 swap?

Also, what about this alternative to the Mishimoto: http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-ROW-FULL-A...1925ab&vxp=mtr

    Please be gentle...
