Oh you were talking about the Asylum kit. I have no idea. I found that website when I first did my research but I didn't have enough info and it said "coming soon" so I disregarded it.

The kit includes an oil pan, drive shaft and headers. I believe that's the brunt of the cost. Other kits require those things but don't come with them. Considering that and the fact no one else makes those off the shelf parts for the LS swap, I think it's very competitive.

Arc Asylum also produces a LSx e30 swap kit. I have all the hard parts in my garage at the moment. Haven't started the install yet though.

    Kit includes:
    Engine mounts / Transmission mount
Oil pan (front sump Canton pan)
    Headers
    Aluminum driveshaft
    Steering shaft

I'm not sure if it's optional, but he also included a pedal adapter for manual brakes / pedal box.

    Option: header back exhaust

The sikky kit also comes with an installation guide from what I'm told.

Here's a recent state of mine (sikky kit)

yeah, know that the pans are tricky to weld though

But come on guys Garret has done all the legwork, buy his guide as least

I would have bought a kit from him but Sikky was local to me and the sump is so pimp

The E30LS1 kit does need an oil pan, you have to modify a stock one by cutting out a section and having it welded in.

I've updated the write up with the VSR kit information. The VSR kit seems very basic. The sikky kit does everything for you (when the full kit is finally released).

I just finished an LS swap into a Soarer, and we used a set of Hooker headers. Fit was awesome and tight, worth having a look for an E30.
