I'd rather buy these and save some money

Edit: And yeah, for $300, that does look worth investigating. Even if I have to cut the shit out of them, I still couldn't buy the materials for less than that.Last edited by nrubenstein; 01-13-2014, 09:45 AM.2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD LBZ/Allison

I do remember something about having to hammer the shit out of the passenger foot well to get them to fit now that i think about it. :?https://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar...re-irs.356333/

I was considering just chopping the flanges off of my m60 manifolds, ordering some 1-5/8" mandrel bends, and making my own. But you're right, for the price of the OBX headers, it's probably easier/cheaper to modify them. And they are a decent design, definitely a big improvement over then m62tu manifolds.
Don't forget to do an X pipe... these are crossplane crank engines.

Edit: FWIW, I found them for $250 ($275 shipped). I was thinking about building fully custom as well, but when I did some quick and basic pricing, I was already over $500 and I wasn't done. I'll obviously need some bits and pieces to finish this, but....
And yeah, an x-pipe is very much in the plans. After that, I'm hoping to run the stock M5 cats to make it easy to pass emissions.Last edited by nrubenstein; 01-24-2014, 10:04 AM.2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4WD LBZ/Allison
