Thanks I used the POR15 line of high heat paint they turned out nice. Absolutely feel free to use the pics you need from my thread. Great job on the headers and mounts(bough them used from a guy local that changed his mine on the swap) quality welds.

Early next year(as funds permit) I'm going to need the 6 speed driveshaft from you guys :)

Very happy with how the POR-15 and powermesh came out after curing...Hard as glass this car will never rust again. Going to give the engine bay the same treatment..put with their topoat paint on top of the POR-15 paint.

Now ready for the seats....and then its on to the FUN stuff... Engine removal..

Project has started and first things first... clean up the frame.

and no better weapon out there then the POR15 series of products... this stuff is hardcore

    Removed seats, console and carpets...

After cleaning, vacuuming, removing all the OEM tar and removing as much as the rust as possible. These floors are in great solid condition for a car of 23 years old living all its life in QC city

So letting it cure...this stuff becomes hard as steel.. With this level of rust protection and it never seing winter again should last a pretty long time.

Now on to cleaning and dyeing the carpets black.... reinstalling everything and then moving on to the engine bay . engine removal and doing the same rust protection with added POR15 topcoat paint.

Sigh... well replying with a bit of sad news. Life is making the decision for me to postpone my m62 swap. With in mind that I had just aqquired a new e30. I really had hopes of having the 2 cabbys painting the same color and passing one off for the other to be able to ride with the swap with no problems, hush hush.

    heres the new e30:

here is how i had recieved it, but the hood was folded over and the latch was broken but somehow I got it off without cutting it off lol

while the thought came to mind of parting out the white one, it may be of convenience to say it here first out of courtesy and announce what can be sold.
Wanting to sell the whole thing as a shell or part out, just without certain parts. I do need the extra parts for the red one.

willing to sell the Diff first because I would like to get the driveshaft taken out to modify for m62 swap.

Ask if interested. will post a link for on a local craigslist AD here.

Lot of work to do on her but ever since I built the red M30B35 vert for my Girlfriend I fell in love with the E30 cabrio...so my 2 door coupe shell is now for sale.

Garagistic exhaust manifolds just arrived... awesome work guys thank you. also got my front (60-2) trigger wheel. and finished cleaning the intake manifold.

I just received (60-2) toothed front crank wheel from a 95 540 (OBD1) even do there is a wheel already in the flywheel I wanted one in the front seeing it was cheap for reliability I'm going to be using the M20 VR sensor on it.

I have done all the research needed to get it to work with my own MS2 and wiring just need to decide if I go Megasquirt or Microsquirt(same power as MS2 but cheaper with small mods to the box) seing I just need Batch fire and Wasted spark and use the stock IAC valve for idle and order what I need.

Going to use the brown M20 coolant sensor for dash display and use diyautotune IAT and coolant sensors, 2 x 4 poll coil packs and custom leng 8mm wires.

Use the relays from a stock M20 wiring I got lying around and I should have all I need.

Garagistic headers are in the mail should get them soon.... meantime I will regasket the motor and remove the god damn TORX bolts on the used like hell flywheel :( :(
and prep the engine bay for the motor and fire that beast up

sigh... no luck. for the mean time I will get parts to go the old fashioned way, 404 DME M60 harness, + timing chain cover + whatever else. still willing to wait on the MS2/3 build.
