    stock brake booster relocated?

has anybody relocated the stock M/C + Booster? I saw a video someone posted and it looks like the stock booster. Is there any info around? I looked but couldn't find much
    thanks

With the right setup, you won't miss the booster at all.

Meaning getting the righr pivot point on the pedal? Ive heard about the non booster setup, and changing the leverage pivot point on the pedal.

Usually if it's a relocated booster it's the e34 V8 setup, not the stock e30 booster.

That said, boosterless is the way to go. As said above, do it right and you won't miss the booster.

The right pivot point and most importantly, the right sized master cylinder.

I'm an elusive creature. Also my car's not exactly street legal so she stays at home.

Considering what you're swapping, a pedal box is gonna be your best bet.

Garagistic for the bracket, wilwood pedals, 2x 5/8" masters for the brakes and 1x 3/4" master for the clutch. All in all it's about $150 more than a Massive delete kit and the wilwood pedal setup e30v8 recommends, but you'll have brakes that REALLY work (price figure is with keeping the stock e30 brake master) and you won't have to deal with a penny's gap between the brake pedal pad and the clutch pedal pad.

What is the right sized master? OEM or aftermarket? What's your set up?

Right size master is kinda dependent on what else you have. Me and 302 have pretty much the same setup, sans rear brakes, and my brakes feel like they're slightly improved vacuum assist stock brakes.

We both have a booster delete plate and a 3/4" wilwood master, part # 260-3374

If you have a pedal box you can use 5/8" masters since each master is only moving two sets of caliper pistons. Much more braking torque this way. part # 260-3372

You will hate life with the stock size master cylinder. Very little braking torque, extremely heavy pedal.

Edit found it in another thread. Willwood 3/4

                        Same one? Fixed.

How would this work with stock brakes?

Ebay link won't work. But it won't work with "stock" brakes, you'd still need a booster delete plate & increase your pedal ratio.

Yeah I have the massive booster delete and the stock MC right now. It was just a pain to make the brake lines so switching out the master for another im sure require a whole new set of hard lines :/ Do you think that the 3/4 master is the best way to go for a stock brake system?

Use unions and short pieces of lines to connect to what you've got. The Wilwood is a single outlet, so you'll need to tee it to the fronts and rear.
