    LS3 480 in a E30 m3 convertable conversion.

Hey guys fairly new here. Just wanted to post some pics of my car and where it is at in my restoration/modification process. I bought the car just for the m3 conversion done to it from a previous owner. The car was not done to my standard and have since completely dismantled it. I've done a full m3 five bolt conversion and removed the b35 it had in it.

What's the undercoating you did? The body work looks like it could use some love. I'm guessing the rear overs are fiberglass bits bonded in. Hopefully that was done right.

Mmmm love those sikky green mounts.

    Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

It's all original m3 parts. The body work is being done now to freshen up an old conversion. We rolled the fenders in the rear. I used truck bed liner as undercoat. Let's see how it sticks.

oh wow. I wasn't expecting an actual M3 donor for the rears. Fronts make sense as they just bolt on. Can I see some pix of how the rear was done?

I don't have pics of the actual conversion. I bought it that way.

I know. More like artifacts and what not. you can tell a lot about how something was done even after the fact. I'm interested on how the body work is on the car.

I can tell you they did some awful patching at the rocker that rusted out.

Wow, he was running slicks? Seems a bit nuts since no track in the world will let you run a 'vert. Cool project though, keep us posted!

Those are track tires from my 335. I changed to 5 bolt and had no wheels. Lol
