This is great to see and all the details for it kept asking myself for longest if this could be legal

Have you got any pics of how you ran your coolant pipes using that rear accumulator pipe as i may go that way to make my swap easier and give me more clearance

still no pictures, I am guessing you read the post above I wrote out a while back about how I went about the headers.

I'll be swapping the motor for an "upgraded" m60 in the next month or two... hopefully can take some pictures when the motor is out.

unfortunately my pics of exhaust build were crap.
basically I didn't attempt top use the modified single outlet manifolds (X5? see garagistic site for ref.) . so Ive no idea if they would pass BAR.
    I wanted a 'stk' configuration 4>2 /2>1
at heads : cut off flange end of stk header leaving as much 2bl wall header as possible to fab onto. used SS pipe
reused stk 2 bolt flanges at ends, 'headers' end next to blk/trans joint. Stacked, not side by side. pointing down at 45*+- . this is tight but workable.
Reused the stk 2>1 connector/pipe w/ reshaped pipe to end of headers.
Then 21/2" back to Calif legal 540 walker cats w/ O2 sensors. dual 21/2" cat back to muffler.
The BAR ref commented the headers had been modified but were representative/ close enough to what his diagrams showed.
    Your results may vary.
I probably paid more for the exhaust system then all the rest of the swap.

It's detailed in my project thread.
Basically vapor recovery is stock e36 except the e30 evap tank.
I'm hoping to put together a how-to thread in the near future.

BAR inspection was at the Alameda college location.
Inspector was a stickler for exhaust modifications but everything else was fairly straightforward.
