Any tips on how to get my clutch bled? I️ am able to get the master bench bled but nothing is coming out of the slave bleeder.

      Buy one of these

      https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/p...w54264/4614407

Put brake fluid in it. Get some clear fishing line and connect the oiler to the slaves bleeder valve. Crack the bleeder and pump the fluid in. Make sure to not run out of fluid in the oiler and pump a bunch of air in. This is the only way I bleed the slave.

I have my driveshaft fabbed and ready to go now. Just need to buy a new guibo and some guibo bolts as I seem to have misplaced a few.

In other news, my little dude is likely to arrive within the next few days, possibly even tonight. My wife's blood pressure went up and they are waiting to see if it goes back down- if it doesn't they may induce labor tonight

EDIT: As I hit the post button the nurse walked in and said they are going to induce tonight. Looks like I didn't finish the car in time!

I'm wondering if it will work better with the clutch plumbed or if that will make absolutely no difference. I'm hoping for the former, suspecting the latter. Thinking I will swap out the M20 lever for the stock 540i lever to see if it has any effect.

But in other news, I'm moving this weekend so it's going to be a few weeks probably until I can get back underneath the car.

I had this issue when I did mine. I had to cut & reweld the DSSR/Selector twice just to fix this. I think mine was 1/8" too long and that was making reverse & first not give way.

We had a bunch of family and friends over this weekend to come meet the new addition to our family. My buddies and I made a run to the garage and got my clutch bled- it turned out that the bleeder was totally clogged.

Did my method work or did you just bleed it the old fashion way?
