From what I read 6th gear is useless with anything lower.

I'd run it through a gearing calculator before going to that conclusion. There's nothing wrong with loping along at freeway speeds below 3,000rpm.

Wow, that will be a serious setup. With all of that torque, why go from 3.15 to 3.73? 3.15 seems like a good match for a light car with typical T56 gear ratios.

I need to design my fuel setup. Think I'm going with a surge tank setup...

The diff I have now is a 3.15, I'm going to re-gear it to a 3.73.
