which grit of sand paper did you use and was that just regular body filler?

I used 80 grit the whole time. I’ve read about people going from 80 all the way to 220 but I knew I was putting texture coating on it that would bond just fine. I used regular ole Bondo body filler because from everything that I’ve seen and read the padded dash filler is not worth it.

Thank you! I've been looking into a way to do this with mine.

Anybody have experience with cam swapping an L33? I’m debating between a stock LS3 cam and a sloppy stage 2 cam.

HP goal? Max RPM? Are you going to upgrade the valve train? Because the stock springs will limit you.

400 wheel, 6500 RPM and I’m upgrading to PAC 1218s regardless which can I go with.

The rotating assembly will go to 7000 with ARP rod bolts.

Sloppy Stage 2 for sure. That is what I will be running in my 6.0

Behold the 5.3 L33 out of an 06 Silverado 1500. Aluminium block to keep the weight down, 799 heads for good air flow, and a sloppy stage 2 cam enroute.
