HELP! what are these connectors for

Hey guys I’m doing an engine harness for my 1989 325IS I bought a new harness from a local and the 2 connectors right by the plug for the ECU are completely different. Can anyone tell me what these are for? Thanks

https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...version-wiring it's connector C131 I believe. Looks like it's something to do with the transmission, auto vs manual.

The WT connector is the C131 and the black the C136

C136 comes from the AC/HVAC to bump the idle when you turn it on (BK/VI wire)
C131 relates to the Automatic trans - the neutral/park switch (RD/BU), and maybe the torque converter lockup, or kickdown (since you seem to have 3 wires).
