    trunk actuator help (intermittently works)

My trunk lock intermittently works. When I turn the key at the trunk it will sometimes lock and unlock the doors, but not all the time. I pulled the trunk actuator and wiring and started measuring the voltage.

    doors locked
    brown + green / black = 7.36v
    brown + green / violet = 7.48v

    doors locked
    brown + green / black = 7.42v
brown + green / violet = no voltage

These readings seem low, can someone with a working trunk actuator confirm what their voltage is across these wires?

The battery was currently reading 12.3v

Those are too low. I haven't checked mine, but I know that the signal is based on 12volts. You need to start cleaning wire connections upstream.
