the fuse is still fine, hasn’t popped. I will see if I can obtain a 15a fuse though. Relay is clicking when trying to start, so I’m thinking it’s fine. One thing though is that if you crank it for about a minute, it will backfire through the exhaust. I’ve read this could be excess fuel or timing is off?

I also tried to check resistance on CPS terminals but I wasn’t really able to get a reading. I tried checking voltage too but nothing. Maybe it’s my meter, or maybe it’s bad. I ordered a parts store one to temp swap it out with to see if maybe that’s a cause.

I feel for you man. I had this no start issue back last year. And it was a PITA. Like I said mine was Main relay, alternator, and fuse. But yours could be a CPS issue or maybe spark. Is it throwing any codes?
I know this kind of a lazy way to fix a problem, but after I got my problem resolved I replaced every sensor and relay again. I did it to make sure it was good.

well, I think the parts store CPS resolved one issue. CEL is no longer on when I turn the key and try to start it. Still, it doesn’t start. I don’t blame you for replacing parts, anything to help avoid this issue again.

my issue seems to be spark at this point. I pulled a plug and held it against the valve cover, and no spark when cranking. Time to do some digging on this

How old is the Rotor and Cap? How old is the Ignitor? Plugs and wires?

Oof, probably a decade or older.

Might be time to replace all those items. I would for peace of mind.

Did some more troubleshooting this week. I’m seeing about 12v power at the coil. Grabbed a spare spark plug and used the lead from the coil to distributor to check for spark - and there it was. Double checked spark after going through the distributor again, still nothing. So must be something there. Need to budget out for more parts lol

Well, I replaced the distributor cap and rotor. Spark is going through the coil wire, but not to the plugs. Could I have got a bad rotor/cap? Would the distributor be bad somehow?
