86 eta cps and speed sensor replacements

Can someone send me a link to the two crank sensors in the tranny bell housing? I’m only seeing black crank sensors, some websites say they are both the same part no in bell housing. Other sites says it’s in the upper timing cover. Just getting confused and want to order the right part

They are all on the bell housing on the ETA's. 2 are the same.

Ok I was curious if they are different sensors. Same sensor in two spots. Was getting confused by black and gray plug if there was a specific sensor for each one. Thank you

It's been over 25 years since I've had my ETA but the M3 uses the same setup. Since the connectors are identical, BMW used colored bands or zip ties on the ends so you don't get them mixed up causing a no start condition. This may be why some are different colors.

I used a silver sharpie to mark the plugs so I didn't get them mixed up. Otherwise, they are interchangeable.

The sensors are the same, their position and where they plug into the harness are specific.
