where I can purchase stainless braided tank crossover or what fitting sizes are?

I don't want to pay $160 for a stock crossover. There has to be a better way and I want to resurrect my e30 that has been off the road for 2 years. Thanks.

I ran into the same issue when I replaced my gas tank. My solution was to use two M16 x 1.5mm Swivel Nut x 7mm - 8mm Hose Tail (5/16), purchased from Advanced Fluid Solutions in England. While you could just connect the two hose barbs on these fitting with gas rated tubing, I went ahead with brazed copper tubing.

whats wrong with yours? isn't it just a hard pipe with flared ends?

I would just take it to a hydraulic shop and say "copy this".

My hard pipe is not worth tranferring to the new tank. It looks like it is ready to crap out. I will try to remove it, but it looks like I could raise my voice and it would fail from rust.

I sourced from http://www.specialclassicparts.de/ back in 2018. After exchange and shipping, it was half the price of the OEM piece.

That is what I am looking to make. Based on Sunnyledge's post, I found the fittings at Belmetric.com.

Bel-Metric sells metric hardware & specialty automotive supplies nationwide. Visit our website to purchase metric fasteners, nuts, bolts, Time-Sert kits & more.
