    Seat rails not lining up

Swapping the seats from an 89 to a 91 and the holes in the rear of the seat rails don't line up. I have made these holes slightly large by redrilling them out but they are still out by quite a bit (looks like about 1/4" in the back). They fit fine in the front. Any trick to this or should I go purchase a file and make the holes in the rear of the seat rails obround.

They should fit without modification. My guess - something's bent or the seat/rails are not assembled correctly. Less likely, but has there been structural damage to the 91?

      Or they've cocked sideways slightly?

Often unlatching the rails and letting them slide freely gives you enough wiggle.
