New bosch starter or rebuild kit for my original?

I happen to notice that they have rebuild kit for the original. Should I do that or just get a bosch replacement? Thanks.

Thats cool that there's a rebuild kit, but, I just got a (Japanese ?) / $100 +/- that works great. It is a bit smaller / lighter than original / easy install / and spins up fast.

the kit is a pain mostly. a reman or new is probably more worth your time.

If the repair part is the voltage regulator, go for it.
It doesn't cost much, and its contacts eventually wear out.

You probably won't replace the bearings if they are bad.

I would be interested in the Japanese cheaper one as well. I doubt I am going to rebuild this one. With the way things are rusted on this car, I am sure it won't go easy.
