Idle Air Control Valve Constantly Buzzing

I have a 1990 325i. I was wondering why my ICV is always buzzing even when the car is off. I am having to unplug it when I am not drive it. Any ideas?

Break out the multimeter and find the wire that is still getting 12v when the car is off

The white 5 pin relay most likely has a short. It's located next to two orange relays on the driver side strut tower, under a little black box (if still present).

To test, just pull it out. If the ICV stops buzzing then that's it.

If it's that relay mentioned above. Pelican has them. Don't use a brand you find at Autozone(or insert any auto parts store). I found out the hard way about relays.

If the main relay was working properly and you pull it out then the ICV would turn off anyway. I do not think that my main relay is bad.
