Question for my fellow E30 owners... has anyone gone through the process of replacing a windshield through your insurance? If so, did the insurance pay for a new gasket and lock strip as well, or just the glass replacement?
I don't want to reuse my 30 year old rubber, and the new OEM gaskets are $300+ which stings a little bit out of pocket.
Any insights? I have Grundy BTW and I do know that glass is covered in my policy, but the person I just spoke with didn't know if the seals would be included or not.
Thanks in advance.
