Can I send my defective DME to a shop somewhere for them to refurbish?
It seems that the 524/525 (or 526) is the latest DME. Hardware changes should be minimal. But it was produced long after the discontinuation of the E30.
it could always have been swapped into the ix. don't think i've seen a vin label on any of my mine.
