    Auto feeling sluggish

Guys got a problem. for some reason my friends car feels slow and sluggish. When the accelarator pedal is pushed the car is revving but it hardly feels like it's going anywhere. Is this just the tranny going? Been this way since diff fluid was changed. any help appreciated. Just looking for a place to start looking at on Saturday

    Any weird noises?

Friend of mine's Z3 had a clogged cat and it was just like that.

does it take off once you reach about 2500rpms? autos are always sluggish off the line.

Sounds like a slipping tranny. My friend's car did that and the tranny completely died about a month later.

no diff over 2500rpm , but since we are about .5 miles away from the bay it exhaust has been been getting rusty and making noise

            EDIT
*maybe it's time to change out the filter kit on the car*
