    REDLINE MTL VS REDLINE MT - 90

    what do you guys prefer... or have used... the nomal mtl or the mtl 90????

    I always see on Bimmer mag Q&A that they suggest using Redline ATF..

      yeah but why use it if i live in miami.... isnt atf supposed to be used in cold weather startups???

        Well ATF is Automatic Transmission Fluid, but they recommend it for manual transmissions too..

        Something about the mix being good for all transmissions in general. I've yet to try it.. my transmission could use a change...

          They recommend it mainly for very cold temperments.

            The issue is also probably clouded by the fact that ATF is BMW spec in certain manual trans. Don't ask me which ones. I think the drain plugs on them have a projecting hex head instead of a recess for an allen wrench.
