Still though, I paid almost 2000 for my m50, I would have definately paid the extra 1200 for such a bad ass engine.

I don't know if you guy's spotted this,but it seem's a bit dodgey the way they've(e30.de) lowered the subframe because of the extra hieght of the M motor ?

The brakes would not work out, but that is an upgradilble part. The suspension, however, is no different than a 325is or anything else. Besides I am using 325is Eibach coils and BS sports, they are realatively soft, but you need some squish to plant power.

WOW, that is a dumb solution to a hood probelm, take a saw and cut a shaker cowl for that thing!

Yea, that looks like a hack job - see that mounting tab on the back of the block - it's cask into the block (I think for auto trannys)

We cut that off on my block. It's seems like they couldn't get it to fit so they just did a hack job. It's not looking like a nice install.

Ok what are my tranny options?? Can I use a 6 speed in there or will only a 5 work???
Any issue's w/ Clutch linkagee mounting to E30 pedal??
( I will also be converting to a std. tranny @ time of conversion)
