    89 325is is the best non-M3 e30. Everybody knows that

      Owner of a '90 is without airbag. Made 8/89. Best is a matter of opinion, but '89 to '90 w/o airbag steering wheel....

        Personally, I do not like the late arches.

        I also prefer that battery in the trunk.

        I also like smaller tails.

        I love the early eS/iS airdam.

        So, to me, the '87 325is is best.

            Man soo many subtle differences within a 3 year span no e46 is like this as far as minute details except late or mid production changes...guess it's all due to airbag laws etc?

                the 87 didn't have euro bumpers, it had US bumpers (the euros were small and chrome, the US's were large and aluminum)

                really, the late models have "euro" bumpers, since they are the same as the real European cars
