Windshield squirty thingies on the hood

I want to respay these to give them a nice new look since they are faded. I looked in my manuel but couldnt find how to do it. I tried on my own but I dont want to mess anything up (IE chip the hood).

Does anyone know how to remove them?

    Thanks

...If you mask it off right, you should be able to hit all the parts you can see anyway. Why take it off, to spray the shit underneath you can't see?

I just would prefure to take it off. Masking the hood with tape and newspaper is gonna scratch it up and cause some swirl marks. Even If I did do that I would have to wash the car to get all the dirt of so I could mask it and its to cold out.

anyone else? Is there even a way.

Buy new ones.. they are like $5 each...

repainting them is just going to clog the outlets.

            Buy new ones.

ok thanks, I knew it was something easy just didnt wanta mess anything up trying.

Im a cheapy so im just gonna tape the nosles and respay them. Hell you guys told me to get new bumper moldings a month ago. Instead I've sprayed a bunch of black primer on them to fix it up. Now I just gota do a final top couple coats and they will be good for about $30 on ebay, mint shape too :) .

If I had a car in your condition jordan and had a job I wouldnt hesitate calling BMA for some new ones. There small and its not a big deal, whats wrong with just trying to restore them.

Its all good, call me retarted all ya like, this is still a cool fourm.

because the $5 you spend on paint could go for $5 brand new ones which won't be clogged. they are a cheap plastic part, they aren't meant to be restored.

                              You guys are so hostile!

Look Nando you will need to take them off as there is a rubber gasket between the jets and bonnet (hood) then you can put some chewing gum into the holes then get a Stanley knife and cut the chewing gum off for a clean finish, then to get it out you put the jets into the freezer and poke it out with a tooth pick.

But i would buy news ones if i was you! I just got some heated ones which are nice since the winter is setting in here in the UK.
