        No.. its not splined anymore.

        They are all splined, like all cars ever. Certainly all e30's.

              no i didnt strip shit. The old one had no splines, and i got an OEM replacement from the Dealer and it wasnt splined either. Perhaps because I have a newer model? (1991) The world may never know.

                I'm not sure you guys are talking about the same parts!

                I've never, ever seen one, nor does the ETK show a diagram of one without ridges to keep the wiper arm indexed to the motor.

                These are the stubs that poke up out of the cowl, yes? The ones that use a nut to hold the wiper arm to the stub? You had to remove the whole bloody mess to change them?

                Or not? :?
