Can I get a pic of how the verts trunk is held up

I have a coupe and had to remove the springs for my stereo install and need to see how the convertibles have they're trunks held up. Thanks

pins on the lid and body in the left side of the trunk go through the holes on each end of the shock and then a little washer slides over the end of the pin to hold the shock in place.

the lower mount is on the thing that holds the jack in place. the upper mount is on the hinge. you could drill a hole and use bolts with a lock nut, or you could weld the little pins in place. i dont remember what the trunk hinge looks like in a coupe or sedan, so i don t know if those pins are there for you already.

just get some pins and a shock and weld it on. late model verts use two shocks, two weaker ones.
