Removing 3rd Brake Light in Cabrio

Hi,

Requesting help on how do I remove the 3rd brake light from the cabrio trunk lid. I managed to remove the brake light but the wires are soldered in a circuit board. Is there any way to disconnect the wires without cutting them?

i just pulled mine off tonight since I am going to be doing a new trunklid. The wires connected on the driver side up behind the panel. I just yanked and the clip came off. I will have a bulb out light im sure but I will cross that bridge when I get there.

Any idea what to do with the wires to get the brake light to go off on the overhead check panel? I wired them all together and it still stays on after I step on the brake. There are four wires, green/red, brown and green/black x2
