    Drive-By-Wire BOOSTER (Home Made)

DBW ( Drive By Wire) almost on all new cars are painfully LAGGING.

There's http://www.sprintboostersales.com/ which is too EXPENSIVE.... for it's actually Made In China :http://www.diytrade.com/china/4/prod...t_Booster.html

So, most likely this is just a way to rack up money, which is fine.

But, for the exact same result.... there has to be a way to do it Home Made, since it's certainly a simple electrical hardware that we can get it from local Radio Shack for CHEAP... because they both are Made In China to begin with anyway.

It might not look "expensive" or sophisticated, but it will do the same thing.

Already searched online, but no luck so far.
Maybe there's a back channel that you know of ?

PS: If you hate this, well... it's LIFE ;)

That's true, the question is for "other than E30" daily drive.

those "boosters" are complete crap. all they do is increase the sensitivity of the gas pedal. they do not increase horsepower or reduce the pedal lag.

you can achieve the exact same effect by pushing the pedal down more.

and for that, my rx8s gas pedal is drive by wire and i have never ever noticed any pedal lag. in fact, it has an incredibly crisp throttle response.
                      AWD > RWD

But, its lagging on my new Tahoe, it feels like 1 second lag when you hit the gas pedal half way down, even worse when you floor it.
Its not trying to get more power, it's just not responsive.

That's more than likely the automatic transmission being lame, not the DBW.
