    cabrio window rattle

    my cab is tight.
no rattles, no noises and just a fun car.

but, when the top is down, and the windows up, and when i find a bumpy road (i do avoid potholes) i hear the windows rattle on each other.

does everyone else experience this ?

i have ensured all my windows are tight (removed interior just for nothing) and just want a cure for this window rattle

and don't say "roll em down", i do, but my g.f. requests them up most of the time.

i think its inevitable. just compromise and leave your windows down and hers up. works for me!

there is no fix. You can replace the felt piece on the back of the front glass to deaden some of the noise.

Had the same problem, told that beezy "either everything's up, including the top, or everythings down. I don't half ass anything."

Try it some time, it worked for me.

But on topic, I have the same problem, and the noise gives me irrational (perhaps) fear that one of the windows is gonna crack or something, so I just keep them down.

            But if there's a fix, I'm interested.

maybe replace the felt with rubber stripping?

There has got to be a fix. The verts didnt come from the factory with rattles!

Same problem (windows up rattles). My car is tight too - the only rattles come from the windows when up and the top cover when up. I haven't taken it apart yet to try and identify the problem, but it's driving me nuts as nothing else rattles at all...

mine do it too, but also when I close my driver side door the window rattles inside the door.

I believe it has something to do with the entire system being worn from old age.
