        shit i cant deal with wiring the smt6. did he ever get to make those board jst for the MAF convertion??
        so its not possible to run an MAF without an SMT?

            The large gain you will experience is because of the proper tuning by the piggyback....the MAF only gave me another 1-2rwhp & 3-4rwtq, but it gives great throttle response compared to the AFM's.

                The SMT6 unit is about $400 and a MAF runs around $100.

                  Damn that seems like alot of money for some increased throttle response and a couple hp. Is it truely worth it on a street car?

                      Yeah I learned that when I had my 88is. I think Im just going to keep my new ix running strong and stock. Maybe Ill drop it, but probably not.
