"And what's the deal with the yellow pages, what's next, blue pages?"
"They already have those, their government listings."

An ever-lasting high-five to the person who picks up on that.

            Seinfeld?

Is the V8 swap that much more involved than the M50/s50 swap? Is it the clearance that makes it more involved?

Also, what about the 3.0 V8 out of the 530i?

Sorry to burst your bubble but the 530i is a 3.0 V6...

                  Wrong on all counts bro.

BMW sold the 3.0 V8 in 94 & 95. It was a dog. The later "530i" was an inline 6.

He wasnt specific on the year... okay so that is an excuse but I was going off my mom's 2001 530i, I had no idea they had a V8 before that

Uh, sorry to burst YOURS, but it's a V8. Captain.

                      Proof:
BMW e34 Engine 530i M60, 3.0L, 8 cylinder for the 530i from 1993-95. Please specify the last seven digits of your VIN when ordering.

From Euro Depot. I saw it myself, in person even. It's a V8.

That's besides the fact that I knew it was a V8 anways :)

EDIT: Just saw that you were confused with the later 530i's - an understandable mistake, as the older 530i's weren't a common engine, therefore not well known :)

So it's a dog, eh? I never looked into the numbers or anything on it, just know theres one local, and the fitment might be helped by the smaller engine...?

                          Back to the S50 I suppose ;)

No replacement for displacement theory at its best.

Have fun changing SPARK plugs on that. Let alone the weight dist. Fuck V12 swaps. Seriously :)
