Looks like fun. Those motors only weigh a few pounds more than an iron block M50 since they are all aluminum.
Too bad they are pieces of shit though. They eat water pumps, valve cover gaskets, and intake gaskets like there is no tomorrow. Oh and that stupid oil/vapor seperator plate on the back of the intake manfold too. Don't want to be around when the bolts that hold the oil pump together back out or the ignition coils give up from all the heat. $$$.Adam Fogg- '88 M3

PS - Since you've worked on these, have you ever broken that coolant tube that goes from the water pump to the tranny cooler? :)
