    fuel drain

    ok guys, pardon the issue as I haven't actually been UNDER my car yet, but can i drain the fuel without dropping the tank? My car i bought after it sat a year without starting and I have a feeling i have some bad gas...

      There's not a drain plug that I'm aware of on E30 tanks, if that's what your asking. Like kershaw said, siphon it out as best you can. After you siphon the tank as dry as you can get it, I'd undo the fuel filter lines (and now is a good time to replace it)...so that the lines can drain of the bad gas too. It will take some cranking to get new fuel in the system after that.

        there is actually a drain plug, I think it's on the drivers side. it won't drain it completely but it will get most of it.

            yes, I drained the tank on my parts car using it. but that was 5 years ago already. lol

              Yea i just didnt' wanna go through the hassle of a siphon....I'm sure I wont get it all...I just gotta find something to drain into...damn tank is almost full..
