CRX racing Radiators from eBay work great for me on the 24v swaps and they are cheap as well... CRX rads to me are as good as the other leading brands..

Pry up with a screw driver on that expansion hose nipple. Problem solved. I've run one for over a year now with no problems. I overheated constantly with my stock M20 rad. The mishimoto one made things nice and steady. Even with a kinked. hose.

      Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

Mounted mine last night. Didn't have much of an issue with the line leading to expansion tank, just pushed the fucker on there with a non-factory hose-clamp.

Just wanted to follow up and say that the install was a breeze.

System bleed without an issue and there are no leaks. I'm happy!

Of course, now I have retarded hose fitment issues. It never ends.

Did you have an earlier Mishimoto or a later one with the fitment BS?
not sure, i picked it up from Mitch at the shop about 6 months ago.
honestly it was harder to install the IE silicone hoses than the rad and electric fan.
none of the BMW hose clamps would tighten down enough, so i replaced them with regular stainless steel ones all the way around.

Has the OP tried this yet? The flat band clamps solved the issue on my install.

I have not; I couldn't get the stock expansion tank hose on without any hose clamps. I may try a flat style clamp when I get back from my trip.

What make/size fan are you using behind that radiator?
