    I just fixed mine it was a broken solder on the speedometer in the dash had to pull apart the cluster and remove the unit and wiggled it until I found the wire that grounds from one corner to the other was broken, so I soldered it back and it worked right away.

    I also was able to get it to work from banging on the dash before I fixed it.

      yeah the only reason I think it's the sensor is because the obc avg mph also went out, so it seems to make more sense that it's the sensor at the diff.

        my speedo works but my tach doesnt...could this be the same?

          no, the tach gets it's signal directly from the motronic computer.
