what chip company said it removed the speed limiter? there isn't a speed limiter, Nando is right. Obviously there is a rev limiter, and the chip doesn't remove that either, it just changes the limit.

the chip should give you more power, so of course you would be able to go slightly faster. don't forget to take into account things like windspeed and direction, the road you are on (hills and whatnot), etc.
I have a chip in my car and the top speed is exactly the same. it just doesn't have enough power to go any faster, unless I were to drive at 125+ for 5-10 miles. then I might break 128mph...

it was a 40$ ebay chip:) and i know it doesnt eliminate the rev limiter i didn't say it did.

Average of independent magazine sources. US residents, multiply by 1.2 if you want to convert an Imperial mpg result into US mpg. **Famously timed by Autocar at 162 mph with European 155-mph speed-limiter obviously inoperative! http://web.ask.com/redir?u=http%3A%2...amp;Complete=1
