different fuel injectors on a stock e30?

what're the effects of using non-stock fuel injectors with a higher pound/hour output on an otherwise stock car? are fuel injectors transferable through all e30s? are there any negatives other then running rich and worse gas mileage?

More fuel wasted. Otherwise not much.

    Pointless on a stock motor.

Would it help if you got bigger injectors along with an m30 afm? or would you still not recomend it?
How would it be with just the m30 afm and stock injectors?

Injectors and a M30 AFM will give you a slight improvment in power

FWIW I get slightly better gas mileage with my 19# injectors on a stock motor (except for an SS exhaust and chip).

to what degree of modding would you say should be done before getting larger injectors?

The technical answer would be, to the degree that your current injectors max out and cannot provide your engine with enough fuel causing it to run lean.

I forgot the exact number but i think it was ~178hp that stock injectors start to max out.

I'd say almost any worthwhile mod will max out your stock injectors. With just a chip I did.
