    Rear Seat interchangeability?

Dear R3V, I need your help,

I have searched, but did not find a definitive answer to my question, are late model (88' IS) REAR seats interchangeable with Early model seats?

I found a thread saying that the tabs are somewhat different from back in the day, but it did not ellaborate.

does anyone know for sure, how big the job is?

help a brother out will ya'?

Try real OEM to find out if the tabs are the same. From my knowledge I think they are but then again I could be wrong.

keep in mind that the seatbelt configuration was different on some seats, and the middle buckle is on different sides.

              ^ this.

you may have to swap around your seatbelt buckles.

Eek! at least I have the 2 complete cars side by side, should be able to pull it off, thanks for the pro-tip in advance though.

removing the buckles are no problem at all. its just 2 17mm bolts.
