guys its not the fuel pump, coil etc.

    All that shit works fine.

They are not being switched on by the ECU.

Two things: did you check/replace the relay right next to the ECU?

Second, is there a kill switch on the car you might not know about? Hazard switch, left blinker, etc? I had this SAME problem ona subaru of mine. Replaced plugs, wires, ignition coil. Still nothing. Sat in the car getting frustrated. started pushing buttons, hazard switch, tried it again, it worked.

        Worth a shot...

Check to make sure that there is power and ground at the ecu.

I'm willing to bet that's your problem.

I had this problem too and just got it fixed. My issue was the fuel pump relay. Atleast thats what it was according to my mechanic.

              Not that.

Ok, tonytony is willing to drive up and swap ecus with me. The only thing is that his is a 524 and mine is a 173. Will this still work? If not is there anyone near Vancouver, WA that is willing to drive and swap with me? Lunch, dinner, gas $$? Please?

check and make sure you're getting switched 12v at your main relay. If you're not, check the wires underneath your steering column, there is a big cluster of them that can cause problems(in my car at least).
