Anyone know what would cause this light to be on on the instrument cluster? Brakes work fine. The rear passenger brake pad sensor connector is broke and does need replacing, would that cause this? Thanks!

I don't even think theres a sensor hooked up to the rear passenger wheel connector cuz its broken. I'm going to get the parts soon and install them, hopefully that turns the light off."Once more into the fray."

Guys, if it is unplugged, it is "open".
When the system sees open, it triggers the indicator.
How to (most of the time) FIX it: Buy new sensors.
Before you put your new sensors in, scrub the connector with CRC electronics cleaner and a pipe cleaner, get those connections as clean as you can. Put a dab of dielectric grease (same shit as spark plugs get) or just plain old vaseline inside the socket before you plug them together.
This $20 fix generally fixes all the issues.
