90% of the time people who say "those are bad in snow" are people who own neither a bmw or a rwd car for that matter. Snow tires make a huge difference also. When I'm driving on snow covered roads I like to test out my stopping abilities in a safe place just so I know how long it's actually going to take to stop. Even on snow covered roads, I'm surprised how well the car stops when applying a fair amount of pressure to the pedal. Also, take it to an empty parking lot and get the car going sideways a bit. I don't mean rippin' mad donuts either. Make an imiginary turn in your head and take it at a comfortable speed. After a few times speed it up a bit and practice correcting the car after the back in kicks out. Knowing how your car is going to act and how to counter it before you actually experience it on the roadways will benefit you and hopfully keep you from r3ving...
