If it doesn't come out when you drain the oil, its probably become a new ingredient in your synthetic blend. Good luck, and I'd definitely have a few words with the company that did the work.

just out of curiousity, if "its a new blend of oil"... its gonna F8* something up isn;t it........

PS< what would make oil leak when ever i turn the car off?

it does it right under my oil plug, AND right under my transmission (where it meets the engine...... i was thinking pan gasket, but woulnd; that leak ALL the time?
(nothing really leaks when the car is rtunning)

it might just stay on the bottom of the pan and now come out with the oil, but it should just stay there, put a magnet on the end of your drain plug so it takes teh fragments out of it.

heh niice (trick) i'll try that tomorrow,

just stick a magnet on the plug for a couple of hours and magnatize it, and let it stick to all metal stuf in oil pan (right?)

          cool

I'd guess your rear engine seal.

aaah crap.. i don;t know what/where that is.. but it sounds like i have to drop the tranny to replace. and probly take the oil pan off as well,, it's inside the crank isnt it lol

I'd check the oil pan gasket first but if its leaking from between the tranny and engine, the rear oil seal would be my guess, and its located at the backside of the block around the crank so the tranny would need to be dropped. Check the pan first to save your self the headache of removing the tranny needlessly. If that's not it, install a new clutch and lightweight flyweel while you're in there.

before you go to all that trouble it could be the valve cover at the back it would leak donw the back of your engien and apear as tho its the rear main seal so check all the top gaskets first. and yeah or you can get one of those mini earth magnets that are hella strong and stick it on the end of your plug. that works too

lol thanks, i'll do that,, yeh i'll check the valve cover gasket tomorrow..

makes sense, since it did not start dripping from the tranny area until AFTER i took valve cover off... huh anyway thanks again..

man, see i was still working when he was doing it, i got back in time to watch him put the valve cover back on....

he turned the car on, and there was still a slight ticking (not near as loud as before when valves were un adjusted)

i asked him about it, and he was like "it;s your injectors, nothing to worry about"....

well, after i feasko (spel? lol) fixing it the other day, i turn the car on,,

and "my injectors stopped clicking" my engine sounds so smooth now,

what a studid ass... grrr... i really regret not paying the extra 15 bucks to have it "legit" and done BY the dealer, trust me, the car would be there now with the head off and taken about for screw ups..... but NOOO, i HAAD to pay the mofo under the counter..... grr....
oh well, the thing is running GREAT now,, and smooth.. lesson learned,,,, just do it yourself (i know how to ajdust my valves, but b/.c of work, and sheer laziness, i let other do it lol) not anymore.... everything myself,, now on lol that way only one person to blame when something f**s up
