A/C removal - non A/C grommet for the AC hoses through firewall?

I took out my A/C ages ago, but just left the lines in place. I finally had to remove them because they were in the way of something else - but I still have the grommet in the firewall for where the lines pass through, and it has 2 giant holes in it. They let in a lot of engine bay noise (nice for WOT, not nice for daily cruising). I don't want water getting in either.

Anyone know if there is a part # for a grommet for non A/C cars? I spent a lot of time searching through diagrams and couldn't find one. What does everyone else do to block the holes? I was thinking of sticking a couple dowels through the holes but that would look like shit.

Non-ac cars have a perforated metal plate, like the ski passthrough plate, that was punched out on the ac cars, so I don't think that there is a grommet available.

I've always used foil tape to seal all unused holes in the engine bulkhead on my race cars, stick it to both sides if you have access. Paint can sort of stick to it if you don't want a bright silver square. Add something like dynamat or other car audio sound deadening stuff to the inside if you don't want the noise (although just sealing the air-path will eliminate most of the noise).

Or get the welder out and weld in a plate.
